Normally I often had to deal with fruit flies in the kitchen in summer, as I eat a lot of fresh fruit. This summer it wasn`t a problem. The mesh of the net is just right. And the fruit basket is a real eye-catcher, I bought a second one for my mother as a gift

Molto bello ed utile, ho messo frutta così viene protetta dalle mosche, ma qualsiasi cibo si può mettere lo consiglio
I can`t understand some of the reviews here about poor quality. The basket is normally tight and not badly woven, I don`t have any holes in the net or anything like that. There are bendable basket parts in the net for stability. If you pull them over the ground a bit, the basket is closed. As it`s not yet clear in February whether fruit flies will get in, I`ll keep an eye on the whole thing, but at the moment I see no reason to give it less than 5 stars. 2 sturdy springs move the cover and are stable, neither too tight nor too loose. I bought the patterned turquoise basket, the color is clean and eye-catching in the kitchen. I like the product please don`t be confused and see for yourself.
