Our durable cotton throws are made exclusively for us using traditional block-printing techniques in Rajasthan, India. The patterns are applied to the fabric by hand using wooden stamps. Small irregularities in the print are characteristic of these handmade textiles and give each piece a unique vibrancy. You can use the throws in many ways: as a throw for a sofa, armchair, or bed; as a curtain, wall hanging, beach towel, or decorative bedspread. Once you’ve grown to love them, you won’t want to be without them—precisely because of their many uses. The images show examples of decorative ideas for wall or ceiling designs. Please note: The bedspread is delivered without loops, hooks, or grommets. You’ll need to make any adjustments for fastening or hanging yourself, depending on your intended use. For wall decoration, for example, you can attach a wooden strip to the wall and secure the cloth to it with thumbtacks. For ceiling decoration, you can punch eyelets yourself, sew on loops, or tie a knot in each corner and attach a string to it. These bedspreads are versatile and leave plenty of room for your own ideas—there are no limits to your creativity.
