Beautiful Indian quilt from the Thar desert. This beautiful handicraft can only be found in the far west of Rajasthan and in the Pakistani province of Sindh. The filigree print typical of this region is a combination of screen and block printing. This gives the pattern a very special vibrancy. The cloth consists of two layers. These are joined together by hand-stitched seams and then finely embroidered. The throw is very hard-wearing and is therefore perfect for sofas and armchairs. Each piece is unique and may therefore differ slightly from the picture.
