Everyone who stands in front of this work of art is fascinated. No matter from which direction you look, you always see the Buddha from the front in the face. When you walk past him, the head moves very slowly with and is always directed to the viewer (optical illusion). This effect is created by a hollow form from which the sculpture is made.
