Masks

Wooden masks/ masks

Mysterious and mystical are our masks and wood-masks! Masks have been around for many thousands of years and today are mainly known through theatre and art. But originally masks refer back to religion and rituals. Many native and indigenous people used them to charm their worshipped gods and to keep away evil and unwanted spirits . In indian cultures on the other hand people with masks embody nature spirits and spirits of ancestors.
Our handworked masks can be stood up on a nice spot or hung up the wall. Their mystical charisma makes them to dominant decoration objects, that are definite eye-catchers wherever you put them and sometimes can feel like a silent observing guard. The masks are made of balsawood, ebony and coconut-wood and elaborately decorated.
